Due to present business needs we have vacancies for Production Operatives within vasrious departments including Carding / Spinning / Finishing & Blending.
Applicants must be fully flexible and prepared to participate in shifts following a 5-day 2 shift rotating pattern (rotating weekly 6am-1400pm & 1400pm - 2200pm).
Essential Criteria:
· Numeracy and literacy skills
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Manual dexterity
· Flexible and organised
· Ability to work to targets unsupervised and on own initiative
· Ability to work in a team
· Ability to work 2 shifts on a rotational basis.
Desirable Criteria:
· Relevant textile experience
Rate of pay:
During training the pay is £10.42
On successful completion of training the rate of pay will increase to £10.92 per hour.
As skills develop there is an opportunity to move to the full production rate of £11.38.
There are extra pay rate for working night shifts and trainings.
Interviews will be arranged on an on-going basis until positions are filled.
