Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the site and equipment cleanliness is to the standards of the company.

Fundamental Responsibilities and Duties

· Responsible to Lead, manage and be accountable for the Hygiene PM team to provide a consistent high-level standard of cleanliness.

· Conducting regular inspections to ensure that allocated locations are clean and hygienic, signing off inspections using I.T systems.

· Supervising and training staff on proper hygiene and sanitation techniques to allow continued high standards.

· Monitoring stock levels of all products required to allow a smooth running of the department with no delays to tasks being carried out.

· Ensuring all production areas and equipment are cleaned to the highest standard including, but not limited to Preparing areas, Foaming and Rinsing Machinery, scrubbing off Machinery and areas within the processing environment, hand cleaning any utensils / delicate equipment.

· Following company cleaning / dismantling / reassembling instructions at all times

· Dismantling and re-assembling production equipment as required to allow a thorough cleaning for the following teams workload.

· Implement and adhere to any health and safety regulations, policies and procedures and correct wearing of PPE.

· Adhere to any food safety regulations, policies and procedures, ensuring the processing environment is prepared ready for use.

· Demonstrate and put into practice accurate understanding of COSHH to reduce and prevent workers exposure to hazardous substances.

· Ensuring cleaning cards and dismantling instructions for equipment are used and up to date.

· Communicating with head of manufacturing via email and during shift handovers

Skills and Knowledge

Detailed understanding of processes and equipment used in industrial cleaning.

Developed skills in using jet washes and assembling / de-assembling equipment.

Job Hours: 5pm - 2am

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £14.56 per hour

  • cleaning: 3 years (preferred)
