In your role, you will be responsible for two of Teradata’s largest UK Banking clients. As a Teradata Account Executive, we’ll entrust you to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients, for us and for your own personal development and ongoing success. We know this is a big ask, but it’s what makes our Account Executives stand out from the crowd. Does this sound like you?
You’ll be responsible for driving and expanding the footprint of Teradata’s unique portfolio of solution products and services. We would like you to maintain and grow our strong existing business with the organisations whilst establishing new expansion opportunities throughout the bank's lines of business.
Who You'll Work With :
This role reports into Area VP and interfaces directly with sales leaders in EMEA to drive Teradata’s joint go-to-market activities with Financial Services. If you are a high-energy, collaborative individual who thrives in complex, fast-moving, cross-functional/cross-company environments, this is the role for you. You’ll be working closely with your customers as a trusted advisor. Teradata’s professional reputation and range of solutions and services are second to none, so you’ll also be a trusted ambassador for our brand.
Minimum Requirements :
You’ll need
Strong sales leadership qualities and experience of selling and working with analytic data solutions within the financial services sector.
Preferably you will have an existing network within the financial services industry .
E xperience managing large established accounts, working with dedicated and shared account teams.
The ability to construct, sell and close small, medium and large complex deals of $10m+ and building the supporting business case.
A track record of building and executing strategic account plans in large complex enterprise customers.
Experience of working with partners, such as system integrators and CSP’s.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build senior network of C-Level executive networks across multiple business functions.
What You'll Bring :
You should have a proven track record in partnership management and sales as well as deep domain expertise in data analytics and Cloud. The responsibilities of the role include working closely with Natwest & Barclays and Teradata sales teams to identify, pursue, and close opportunities in new and existing accounts. The ideal applicant will have exceptional interpersonal, project management, account planning, and negotiation skills in addition to demonstrated experience in sales pipeline management and co-selling..
