This 12 month Fixed-Term Contract role will operate as the HR Project Delivery Lead within the enabling functions team and will be responsible for delivering various projects across Johnson Matthey’s transformation programme covering (but not limited to) Engineering and Capital Projects functions. The scope of the projects cover Johnson Matthey globally and the role will partner closely with HR colleagues, and business leaders across all geographies to implement the programme deliverables.
Your responsibilities:
  • Devising and owning the HR project plan for the people related aspects and ensuring key milestones are identified and communicated to key stakeholders
  • Project managing, driving and supporting the execution of the People workstreams associated with the project
  • Managing in conjunction with the overall programme team a regular project reporting mechanism for the HR teams and relevant business leaders
  • The role will partner closely with other project leads across the functions delivering other workstreams in the programme, including external partners, to ensure dependencies are identified and accommodated in the project planning
  • Produces project status reports for review with workstream leads and sponsor
  • Planning and running HR project team meetings. Creating agendas and managing the action log
  • Overseeing the collection, management, analysis and communication of key data
  • Day to day management of HR BA project resource
  • Working with the HR representatives and project team to ensure the delivery of key project milestones on time and within the agreed processes
Requirements for the role:
  • Strong HR PM with a good understanding of HR best practice and processes
  • College, University, or equivalent degree in HR or a related subject required
  • Relevant project management experience and possesses a PM qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in HR, preferably with exposure to delivering multi country change programmes and used to examining/diagnosing opportunities for process improvement
