Walker's Logs are looking for a delivery driver for the coming winter season. We are based near Compton Abdale, GL54 4DL
The role will include:
- Delivering firewood in 3.5t vehicles
- Stacking firewood
- Additional yard assistance duties, including packing firewood into bags, cleaning machinery and maintaining a tidy yard.
Full training will be given, as well as all necessary PPE.
Walker's Logs are a leading supplier of kiln dried firewood and kindling to both retail and trade customers. We are a family run business, which started 18 years ago.
We are looking for someone who is:

You must have transport to get to our site GL54 4DL, Public transport is NOT available, due to our location.
Monday - Friday 07.00 - 17.30
Occasional overtime on a Saturday may be available, on an optional basis.
28 days holiday per year pro rata
Contract length: July 2023 - 31st March 2024 – this could be extended for the right candidate
