Job Summary:
To support the operation of Central Stores and all stores operations throughout the Company, involving receipt and handling of goods, stock control, Issuing materials and equipment, and completion of documentation
Responsibilities & Duties:
- To maintain compliance of all Stores operations with the Company’s Quality and Financial Systems
- Ensure that goods receipt procedures are fully complied with and materials are located in designated and controlled areas in a safe and tidy way
- Issue materials to projects as necessary and ensure records are updated
- Ensure Stores requisitions are provided for all stock materials withdrawn from Stores
- Maintain stock control procedures, including advice to the Stores Controller on items as required
- Maintain registers and day book entries if required
- Complete the physical dispatch of goods with hauliers, including packaging, handling and associated documentation
- Perform assessments on items being unloaded, loaded and handled and select the appropriate equipment for the task
- Issue and receive portable tools and arrange for their internal repair or servicing
- Deal with queries and complaints from internal departments
- Support the requirement for overtime or weekend working as agreed
- Carry out any other duty or task as reasonably assigned by the controller
Essential:
- Math's and English Qualification
Desirable:
- Strong IT Skills

- Good organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
- Good communication skills with ability to deal with customer enquiries
- Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload
